Hi, did you know Love And Norris Attorneys At Law have stated the following:
“Consistently, the Watchtower Society and Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations have responded to an abuse outcry with concern for the organization’s loss of reputation or prestige, rather than concern for victimized children. By failing to acknowledge the problem, investigate vigorously and cooperate with criminal law enforcement authorities, the Watchtower Society has failed to protect its own children from sexual predators.”
1) Did you know these outstanding public servants, Love & Norris, in 2007 got the Watchtower Defendants to settle child abuse lawsuits which some believe netted $750,000 per each of 14 plaintiffs? That most of the perps were elders (clergymen)?
2) Would I be wrong in thinking you or certainly most of the public tend to agree that, given what Love And Norris say, such a nonprofit tax-exempt corporation should have its tax-exempt status revoked?
3) Did you know Watchtower Defendants are the alter-ego of many corporations, the oldest and said most powerful of which is Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania?
4) Did you know they are incorporated as a nonprofit said in papers of incorporation to exist for the good of its members and the public (including our children), and so they not only get exempted from having to pay taxes but enjoy various other services as a nonprofit?
5) Did you know their lawsuit which the Associated Press reported in 2007 (Rose French, reporter) generated hundreds of documents you who are in legal, enforcement and government capacities are this second made fully aware of and can make good use of to protect our children and grandkids in your various states, around the U.S. and globally?
6) Did you realize Watchtower sends all members they judge in good standing including previously convicted pedophiles along with the other decent, honorable but mis- or il-informed Jehovah’s Witnesses (two of my dear and kind adult daughters are such) as they preach at the public’s door, sometimes get invited in to speak with or conduct free home Bible studies with the public and the public’s children?
7) Did you know not only Witness kids but the public’s kids have been raped due to the ease of access to the kids? That silentlambs.org has on it photos of such Watchtower pedophile clergy, a list of towns by state for which alleged (and in some cases also convicted) Watchtower pedophile clergy are written there?
8) Did you realize some of these perpetrators have knocked on, will knock on and may even now be knocking at many to most of your own doors?
9) Did you know that at least to this point of writing (January 2008) Watchtower refused to change its policy of sending all “in good standing” members including pedophiles to your doors?
10) Do you clearly see that this is not a doctrinal issue but a public safety concern about which we must speak up for the sake of safety? (I don’t mind talking doctrines and such too, but this has nothing to do with that – simply safety.)
If so, then please act however you know best and are empowered to do so now that you have been so informed. In fact some of us are seeking to contact officials in not only Pennsylvania but other U.S. states, Canadian provinces and abroad. I am simply advocating that you look into what I’m saying here then act accordingly.
